with planning approved recently, we’re starting on site with a modern house for our client on the outskirts of cloughmills, ballymoney.

The contemporary 3 bed dwelling sits within the loughill countryside – our clients brief was simple – a reasonable sized modern house that can be used as a family home in the future. Also it was paramount that the design brings in “eco home” ideas. With that in mind, we’ve designed using triple argon filled glazing, Icynene spray filling all cavities and voids creating a sealed building envelope which eliminates air leakage. MVHR (heat recovery system) along with various other details to make the home more eco.

with a palette using –  zinc dormers/burnt timber cladding & natural stone cladding this design will provide our client with modern farmhouse look to a traditional building.
