The Draperstown house, is a contemporary home, sitting harmoniously into the countryside outside Draperstown in Co. Londonderry/Derry.
Designed to make the distinction between public and private space, it uses the connection between these to form the entrance, being a two storey glazed link, giving access to the two bedrooms on the first floor.
The materials and detailing derive from the traditional using basalt stonework to accent the crisp white rendered finish.
The dark roof slate caps the delicately massed dwelling which is finished with light oak argon filled double glazed windows and oak timber doors- followed through in the internal house trim.
